What customers say?

“ Great restaurant. Decor is nice and clean. Service was good. The drinks were so good! Lots of things to choose from and couldn’t decide. Ordered mango salad and spring rolls, both of which were great appetizers. Main went with vermicelli with chicken and pork and wow was it generous with protein. I would try another dessert than the bread pudding - this was the only underwhelming part. However, Highly recommend! ”

“ We visited this pho restaurant recently and overall had a mixed experience. The pho itself tasted good, but the portion of beef and other ingredients was smaller than expected. For the price, I would have appreciated a bit more in the bowl. Service was friendly, but it took quite a long time for the food to arrive. Because of the delay, they offered us a complimentary drink — which was thoughtful — although only one drink was given for three people, which felt a bit uneven. On a positive note, the decor was very impressive and the atmosphere was nicely done. With a few improvements, this place has great potential. ”

“ My boss first recommended Dear Saigon (Richmond Hill location) to me years ago, so I was glad to see it open in North York at Yonge and Finch. The interior is cute and youthful, very photogenic, and the restaurant itself is quite spacious, which makes it comfortable for dining in, they also have long tables that work well for groups. We ordered the Dear Saigon Pho(P9)and Bun Bo Hue(P10) and Mango Salad with Grilled Shrimp(A8). The food was average good, very flavorful but I personally found the broth a bit too strong, which made me drink a lot of water afterward. The portion sizes are generous. I would explore some other dishes next time. ”

“ Pho broth is rich and tasty. The house special could do with just simpler presentation of the food, but I guess these days people want to Instagram everything. Overall decent Vietnames food at typical Toronto prices. ”

“ I come here often with my coworker to get the lunch special and it is definitely worth the money for what you get! I got the rare beef pho with spring roll and whipped milo iced coffee. The food here is always good, love the pho broth! Not too salty and the serving size is great. The ambiance is so nice, the decor inside is really cute and I like that the servers are quick to get you seated and always checks up on how you are doing. Will definitely keep coming here to try more stuff on the menu ”

“ Tried pho for the first time here and it was delicious! Been ordering several times on uber eats after and the portions are pretty big. The broth is so flavourful! The chicken here is also so tender and seasoned perfectly. ”

“ Dear Saigon on Yonge is my local spot for hot Vietnamese. The interior is really cozy when it’s not too crowded. Their House Pho is a great intro to all the toppings (rare beef, brisket, etc.) if you’ve never been to this place. Their brisket and beef balls are top-notch. If you like it spicy, the Bun Bo Hue has a unique, almost seafood-y broth. The broth is flavorful for me. The Tom Yum and Satay soups weren’t my favorites (not super authentic IMO). The Beef Knuckle Bone is a must-try—incredibly tender! (Just the bone, no noodles). The prices are reasonable too! Average $2x per person, the 2-person set probably will save you some money, and you get to have two nice drinks and an appetizer too. Definitely worth checking out for yourself! Let me know if you want any tweaks before posting it! ”
